Remarks

We are pleased to present 'LEZAYRE' a well maintained and carefully looked after Sigma 33. Built by Marine Project Ltd in 1979 and designed by David Thomas the Sigma 33 is a proven safe, reliable and fast cruiser - racer. The Sigma 33s claim to fame is that three boats competed in the 1979 Fastnet Race, all returned home safely endorsing the model as a worthy sea going racing cruiser. The white hull with red boot stripe, spray hood, sail bags and head sail gives Lezayre a really smart and polished appearance on the water. The red trim continues below deck creating a comfortable and bright space. Fitted with a Wabasto Hot Air Heater the cabins can be heated during colder evening and mornings and the well placed L shaped galley offers a two burner stove, oven and grill. Well equipped with a plethora of Raymarine navigational equipment this boat is ready to be cruised. With a replacement engine in 2015 and with plenty of service history and maintenance works completed this boat is a lovely example of the Sigma model, last antifouled March 2020.

Accommodation

Stepping below deck the saloon is spacious and bright, upholstered in red velour trim and contrasted with a teak wood finish the saloon appears spacious and comfortable. The well placed L- Shaped galley comprises of a two burner gimble oven, grill and stove, sink and ice box with plenty of cupboard space to store utensils and necessities. Port side aft is a quarter berth ideal as extra accommodation or storage. Moving forward, the saloon with foldable table can also offer two additional single berths is required. Continuing forward towards the bow you pass through the heads complete with shower, marine toilet, hand basin and mirror. To the starboard side a large wardrobe space offers plenty of storage for wet weather gear etc. A double berth bow cabin with plenty of overhead storage cubbies and deck hatch allows for lots of natural light creating a light forward cabin space.
