Accommodation

The accommodation layout in this boat is superb. She can sleep 8 over three cabins and the saloon. Because she is so easy to handle, she is an ideal couples boat. However, be warned, those of you with friends and family will be inundated with offers to crew for you.

The boat has distinct inside and outside living spaces. Starting with the outside there is a companionable cockpit seating area with table, padded seating and access to the flybridge.
The inside is accessed from the cockpit via large panoramic sliding doors. 3, curved steps down and you are into the saloon with full height standing headroom and huge windows letting in lots of natural light. To port is a raised dinette/seating area which will convert to a double berth. Opposite is cupboard storage including a huge wine/spirit store. Lower helm with adjustable/removable helm seat to starboard with a chart/navigation area to port.

Continuing forward, 2-steps down leads to the galley and the lower dinette. To starboard is the galley with built in worktops, electric 2-burner hob, electric oven and a front loading fridge. Matching sink with drainer that is starting to show its age. Hot and cold pressurised water. Plentiful storage above and below the work tops.

Opposite is the dinette which is a lovely place to sit and breakfast, or dine on a cold winters evening. This converts to a large double and has privacy curtains. Just forward of the galley is the large heads compartment which is shared by those berthing in the forward cabin, dinette and saloon. Built in sink with vanity unit, Jabsco sea toilet and shower with pump out. In the bow is a cabin with 2-single berths at different heights. Again here is plenty drawer and cupboard storage and a full height wardrobe. Mirrored cupboard with storage behind.

Returning to the main saloon and moving aft is the Owners cabin. This full width cabin has a full sized double berth, dressing seat, mirrored units which increases space and natural light and a ensuite heads compartment with jabsco sea toilet and shower. This is a very comfortable cabin and features 12V lighting and heating.

Construction

GRP constructed motor yacht with heavy lay up hull. Birchwood boats have an accentuated flared bow which not only improves handling in challenging seas but also minimises the amount of water coming on deck. Bow moulding has an inbuilt anchor housing with electric windlass aft and extra height stainless pulpit to increase safety when anchoring. Underwater profile aft features a cutaway stern which protects the shafts and increases the amount of undisturbed water. Twin rudders.
Bathing platform with ladder access to aft deck. Aft deck with storage box stye seating with removable cushions. Deep wide side decks allow safe access forward. Raised but flat accommodation deck suitable for sunbathing.
