Good clean and tidy example of the ever-popular Quicksilver 580 Pilothouse. This one has the added appeal of a Mercury 100hp 4-stroke which was purchased new in 2021 and has a years warranty remaining. There is a 5hp Mercury auxiliary with 2x12Litre separate tanks which can be used as a backup. Good sized cockpit with space for 4 anglers. Removable cockpit seating and table. 2-berth cabin with single burner hob and porta-potti. Comprehensive electronic navigation package including colour chart plotter, fish finder and DSC VHF. Mechanical
Propulsion is a Mercury DF100 4-stroke outboard with electric start. Aluminium 3 bladed propeller. Engine serviced in April 2025. Single lever side mounted throttle with kill switch. Cruises at 18-23 knots depending on sea conditions and on that count on one hand flat calm days we experience in the Northeast she will tip along at 25 knots.
Mercury 5hp auxiliary mounted on a adjustable height bracket at transom. There are 2X12Lt fuel tanks for this engine.

Electrical
12V systems onboard with a single 12V battery providing engine start and domestic power. This is fitted with an isolator switch and recharged via the engine alternator. There is a domestic jump pack on board should it be required.

Accommodation
Cabin is accessed via a sliding lockable door. Wheelhouse with full standing headroom and Perspex windscreen allowing good all-round visibility. Pilot and co-pilot seating which fold down. Two berths with storage below. Small galley with single burner hob. Interior lights. passengers and helmsman. There is an opening roof hatch which lets in lots of light and ventilation on hot summer days.
Construction
GRP constructed motor boat with Deep-V hull, moulded spray strakes and directional skeg. Underwater areas were antifoul coated in April 2025. GRP topsides and wheelhouse in hi-gloss white flow coat in excellent condition. Central wheelhouse with stepped access to foredeck. Self-draining anchor locker in bow with lid and strong point. Electric windlass with helm controls. Stainless steel stem head fitting with inbuilt tilting bow roller. Wheelhouse with curved Perspex windscreen. Perspex side windows with inbuilt openings for ventilation. Large flush deck cockpit with below deck storage. Port and starboard removable teak seats. Removable transom door section. Bathing ladder.
