RibTec 7.5m RIB for sale

Superb, versatile and super-stable 7.5m RIB for sale, powered by Yamaha 225hp four-stroke petrol engine. Originally built as a chase boat for the J-Class yacht “Velsheda”, and only for sale now as the owners family have grown up and left home (previous owner was a well-known yacht dealership on the South Coast, who used her only for photoshoots and the like). Under this ownership, she has been dry-sailed during the summer, and stored at home under cover during the winter.

The layout of the Ribtec 7.5m features a large console with windscreen, bottle holders, Ritchie compass, morse control, wheel steering, Garmin chart-plotter, Raymarine VHF, Fusion stereo and engine instrumentation. Underneath the console is a huge storage locker, with two forward-facing seats on top. The helmsman and navigator both get comfortable padded jump seats right behind the console, with lockable storage bins underneath. Behind that, there are jump seats for an additional 4/6 guests, with grab bars and lockable storage underneath.

The boat has a 10kg CQR anchor fitted forward in its own locker, with 10m chain and 20m warp. Above that is a stainless steel Sampson post and huge foredeck area. There is provision for a spare outboard at the stern. I have a 2-man inflatable "Ringo" (with around 50’ of floating line) available by separate negation.

Owner's Comments

The Yamaha outboard has never missed a beat, and I have had it serviced by the RIB Shop every year. The same company looked after it in its previous ownership.

The tubes have just been fully polished and conditioned, ready for the season. In addition to that, she has a new coat of International Micron hard antifoul applied to the hull, and the deck has been repainted with International Interdeck. As such, the boat looks superb and is definitely ready-to-go!

“Cool Bear” is currently ashore near Swanwick, and available for viewing by prior appointment. I hold full title documentation for the boat, and she is UK VAT Paid.
