Summary
‘Kyra’ is a beautiful example of the Trader 575 Sunliner built by Tarquin Yachts in 2005 to 2006 specifications. Over her present ownership she has been well maintained and, to a very high standard of readiness to enjoy the sea in a safe and comfortable manner. She will travel comfortably all day at 10 knots which will burn a measly 55 litres per hour giving a comfortable range of 500 nautical miles between fill ups. Her 13.5Kva generator allows you to stay off grid and will run all the onboard systems including the air conditioning. Clearly defined and useable outdoor spaces and a sumptuous interior fit out make spending extended periods afloat both practical and enjoyable. Her twin engines, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, trim tabs and stabilisers, make her so easy to handle that a cruising couple can handle this boat on their own. Upgraded Raymarine electronics package, upgrades to all lighting, New aft deck and galley equipment are a few of the improvements undertaken. Best thing is to come and see for yourselves. You will not be disappointed.
Mechanical
‘Kyra’ is powered by twin Caterpillar C12 inboard diesel engines. These 6 cylinder, 715hp work horses will run all day at 1250 rpm which with a clean bottom will achieve 10 knots and burn a total of 55lph which is remarkable for a boat of this size.  Triple station helm controls with the standard upper and lower helms but with the added bonus of a cockpit control when Mediterranean berthing. ZF fly by wire engine controls which have been replaced on the flybridge due to corrosion. Reduction gearboxes driving stainless steel shafts and 4 bladed bronze propellers. When the boat was ashore in 2023 the shafts and props were coated with ‘Propspeed’ and the rope cutters were refurbished.Â
The engines have completed 1212 serviced hours at time of writing (12/09/2025) with most recent service in June 2024 when all filters, lubricants, fluids. belts, anodes and impellers were replaced. Engine access is superb with a choice of through the floor or for quick checks they can be accessed from the rear via the galley. The engine space is roomy and fully illuminated. A camera is installed which can be monitored from all plotters.Â
Fuel is stored in 2x1500 litre tanks situated port and starboard at mid ships and a further 400 litre day tank from which the engines are run. The day tank automatically fills as it is used. However all tanks can be isolated individually should contamination occur. Â Fire suppression system in engine bay.
Electrical
24/240V systems on board with recently renovated distribution and selector switch panel.Â
Bank of 6x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. The 4x leisure batteries were replaced in 2022. Batteries are recharged via the engine alternator or the onboard Mastervolt battery charger.Â
Added bonus is the Onan 13.5Kva diesel generator which will drive all the onboard systems including the reverse cycle Dometic air conditioning system. 3-pin sockets in all cabins, galley and saloon. Generator has completed 531 hours. Galvanic Isolator installed.
Navigation
The electronic navigation aids have been overhauled with all the chart plotters upgraded to allow the addition of new technology available to todays boater. These include the engine information to be displayed in accurate detail and for the engine room cameras to display real time information. The radar scanner has been upgraded too. There has also been a FLIR camera installed which aids the helmsman when manoevering in poor light and visibility. Also added is AIS that both transmits and recieves and the VHF antennae have been upgraded to Shakespeare models. Â All navigation lights are fitted with LED bulbs

Accommodation
The interior of this boat is in excellent condition thanks to how she has been looked after and the quality of the fixtures, fitting and internal woodwork supplied at time of build. The main saloon is entered via a stainless steel and toughened glass door from the cockpit. A varnished wooden staircase descends into the main saloon which has full height standing headroom and wonderful visibility from the panoramic side and front windows.
There is a leather covered three-seater settee to port with an armchair adjacent and an armchair opposite. Lacquered oval coffee table which is heavy enough to stay put in a seaway, also acts as the base for a larger dining tabletop. The tabletop has its own dedicated storage behind the settee. Next to the armchair on the starboard side is a drawered storage unit with a flatscreen TV atop. Port and starboard of the forward accommodation access steps is the lower helm position to starboard with an array of navigation equipment and to port is the navigators seat with chart area. All the windows in the saloon and windscreen are fitted with ‘Oceanair’ blinds which are closed when the boat is not in use. This has preserved the wood and adds privacy on an evening. Recently fitted pelmet mood lighting with remote control and a choice of colour to suit your fancy.Â
Moving aft, four steps lead down to the spacious full width galley. Here you will find an array of teak joinery work and Corian topped work tops. There is no gas onboard hence the high Kva generator and all household appliances are here making this a home from home. Cooking area with a recently replaced induction hob, built in separate oven with grill and extractor fan/hood. Double stainless-steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water. Opposite is a built-in fridge with storage cupboard below. Built in washing machine and dishwasher. Plentiful cupboards for utensils and provisions.
Moving aft is the full width ‘Owners’ ensuite stateroom. Central king-sized island bed with ventilation/windows aft to bathing platform. Hull lined storage cabinets including drawer/s, cupboards and wardrobes. Dressing/lounge seat to port and dressing table to starboard. Heads compartment with sink, sea toilet and separate shower stall. Flatscreen tv on forward bulkhead. Heating and air conditioning outlets. Deck head and reading lights.Â
Forward of the helm is a corridor to the forward accommodation. Immediately to starboard of the steps is the 240/24V distribution panel with illuminated selector switches and battery selectors. This has been upgraded so that the switches are illuminated when on so that you can tell at a glance if operational or not. To port of the corridor is a midship cabin which has two berths and converts to an office. Opposite is the day heads with sink, sea toilet and shower stall. This has a jack and Jill door that leads to the forward cabin giving the feeling of en-suite. Forward cabin with island double berth, hull lined cupboard and wardrobes and an opening roof hatch for light and ventilation. Further light and ventilation from the opening hull ports. These are fitted with Oceanair louvered blinds.Â
All cabins fitted with Webasto diesel fired heating and  fitted with air conditioning outlets. All cabins and saloon fitted with carpets.Â
