Summary
Beneteau Oceanis 30.1 with standard 1.88M fin keel. Built in September 2020 and launched for her first owner in 2021. Designed by Finot Conq with an emphasis on easy handling but fairly quick in the right hands. Her interior is by Nauta design who have struck a balance between welcoming comfort and modern designs. Her generous beam gives the impression of being in a much larger yacht and she boasts two good sized cabins, a heads compartment with shower and a well-equipped L-shaped galley with oven and fridge.
Cockpit is huge with seating port and starboard of a central drop leaved table. Twin wheels and teak cockpit sole.
‘Stogie’ is a great example of the model and has been well maintained by her current custodian.
Mechanical
Vessel powered by an economical but powerful Yanmar 3YM20 inboard diesel. Engine is situated beneath the companionway in a sound proofed compartment easily accessed from front and rear for daily checks and servicing. Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft with 3-bladed folding propeller.
Single lever engine control mounted adjacent to staboard steering binnacle. Inset engine control panel with stop/start, rev counter and audible/visual alarms for temperature, oil pressure and charging. Fuel stored in a 130litre rotomoulded tank beneath the cockpit locker. Fuel gauge at chart table. Engine has completed 250 hours and was serviced in June 2026.
Electrical
Bank of 2x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. These are fitted with isolators and recharged via the engine alternator or by the onboard battery charger when attached to shore power.
12/240V distribution panel at chart table with illuminated switches. Chart reading light. Shore power including cable and RCD box.
Rigging
Deck stepped aluminium spars with 9/10ths fractional rig and single set spreaders. Discontinuous stainless steel standing rigging with angled aft side shrouds eliminates need for back stay. This allows easy access and unencumbered cockpit use. Roller furling headsail system and slab reefing main sail system. The boat was specified with the upgraded rigging pack which upgraded the genoa sheet winches to the larger 35.2 self-tailers and provided an additional halyard winch on the starboard side of the companionway. Additional spinnaker rigging but no sail.
Sails include a roller furling genoa with UV strip and a boom mounted mainsail with stackpack and lazyjack lines.

Accommodation
Below decks is both comfortable and practical, with easy clean surfaces and well upholstered seating. The main saloon is entered via the companionway with locking Perspex wash board and sliding hatch. The interior woodwork is ‘Sand Oak’ with contrasting laminate flooring and neutral fabrics. All lighting is warm white which is gentle on the eye. Eberspacher diesel fired heating.

Construction
GRP constructed yacht with standard draft cast iron fin keel. Twin rudders with wheel steering. Grey topsides with contrasting white Beneteau decals and boats name. GRP decks finished in non-slip. Rear cockpit with wood strip decking. Huge sial locker on starboard side. Open transom with fold down bathing/swim platform. Stainless steel bow and stern rails conjoined by stanchions and double set guard wires. Self-bailing anchor locker in bow with electric windlass. GRP bow sprit with inbuilt stainless steel anchor roller.
Underwater areas are antifouled using a 2 season application. This is due for renewal late 2026 along with a topsides polish.
