Summary

The Beneteau Oceanis 311 was without a doubt one of the most popular craft ever to leave the Beneteau stable. Designed by Group Finot who were known for more performance yachts, the 311 is no slouch and will delight the more competitive yachtsman. This is a lifting keeled version  giving a draft of 2.00M when fully lowered and a measly 0.80m when fully raised making her ideal for estuary exploring or moorings. 
Below decks is clean and well presented. 2 double cabins and a further 2 berths in the saloon. Galley with full oven, top loading fridge and pressurised water. 
Recently serviced Volvo Penta MD2020 offer reliability and economy. Electronic navigation equipment includes Standard Horizon colour plotter, Raymarine auto pilot and B&G wind speed. Recent Sprayhood. 

Mechanical

Vessel powered by an inboard Volvo Penta MD2020 2-cylinder diesel. Single lever engine control mounted at steering binnacle along with engine start panel Engine has been regularly maintained with most recent service in July. 
Engine is housed beneath the companionway which allows excellent access for daily checks and servicing. Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft and 2-bladed fixed propeller. 

Electrical

Both 12V and 240V systems on board. Bank of 2X12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. These are fitted with isolator switches. 
Batteries recharged via engine alternator or onboard battery charger. 
12V switch panel at chart table with illuminated selector switches. 240V outlets in saloon and galley. 12V deck head lighting.

Rigging

Bermudan sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped aluminium spars. Rigid boom vang and main sheet pulley system. All lines led aft to cockpit. 
Boom mounted slab reefing mainsail mounted in burgundy Lazyjack bag with matching boot. Kemp roller furling headsail with UV strip - NEW in 2024 Standing rigging was replaced in 2011. All running rigging in good condition. 
Lewmar ST30 self tailing Genoa sheet winches and single Lewmar ST16 halyard winch. Winch handles and storage pockets.

Accommodation

Below decks is clean and spacious with 6' headroom throughout. Main saloon entered via the companionway with sliding hatch and double wash boards. Interior woodwork is stained cherry veneers and solid wood. Beneteau pale green velour upholstery in great condition. Teak and holly laminate sole boards. To port is the L-Shaped galley with stainless steel sink with pressurised water. The calorifier function has been bypassed from the engine but can readily be reconnected. Top loading fridge with plate. Gas fuelled oven with 2-burber hob and grill. Plentiful storage cupboards. 
Aft of the galley is a double berth aft cabin. Wardrobe with shelves and hanging space. Opening ports to cockpit and transom. 12V deck head and reading lights. 
Returning to the saloon and forward of the galley is the saloon seating area. Settee/berths port and starboard of drop leaved table. Table incorporates the worm drive lifting mechanism. Storage beneath the settees and mounted to the hull. In the bow is the forepeak with double berth. Storage below and in the hanging locker. Opening deck hatch for light and ventilation. 
Returning to the saloon and moving aft is the heads compartment. Spacious compartment with Jabsco marine toilet and moulded sink unit with pull out shower head and pressurised fresh water. The sea toilet is fitted with a holding tank, but this has been removed as it was not used. This is available and will be provided with the boat. 

Construction

GRP constructed sailing yacht with lifting keel. Twin rudders with protective boots allow the vessel to sit upright at low tide. 
White hi-gloss topsides with smart burgundy and gold hull decals. Deep self-bailing cockpit with teak topped locker seating. Cavernous sail locker on starboard side. Opening transom to bathing platform with stainless steel bathing ladder. Binnacle with wheel steering and wooden cockpit table with fold out leaves. 
Easy access side decks with large foredeck and anchor locker with strong point. Series of deck hatches for natural light and ventilation. 
Underwater area primed, antifouled with fresh anodes in June 2025.
