Accommodation

Below decks is what you would expect from a quality builder such as Halberg Rassy. The Rasmus 35 became the blueprint for subsequent Hallberg Rassy designs. She looks just as appealing to day as when the Rasmus brand was first launched in 1967. Her centre cockpit divides the boat into three clear areas. She benefits from a large self contained aft cabin which offers both privacy when sailing with friends, and companionship when sailing as a couple, with one on the helm and the other off watch. The main saloon is entered from the companion way via sliding hatch and a 3 piece washboard system the top section is louvred for ventilation. 2-steps down, and you are in the saloon with full standing headroom. The interior woodwork is a combination of solid mahogany and mahogany faced marine ply. The upholstery is in a nautical blue fabric and is in good condition. To port is a U-shaped seating area with well upholsterd seating and a wooden dining table. The table will lower and with added infill cushions, convert to a double berth. Opposite is the linear galley featuring a gas oven with two burner hob and grill. Adjacent is a stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water. Top loading coolbox.
aft of the galley is the chat table navigation area with chat storage forward facing seat switch panel and chart light.
between the saloon and the four cabin is a double doped hanging space to starboard and opposite a heads compartment with manual sea toilet, stainless steel sink with pressurised faucet and cupboard storage.
Large fore cabin with V berth. Infil cushion makes into a double. Storage beneath berths in drawers. Hull interior lined with mahogany slats. Shelving along hull. Opening deck hatch for additional light and ventilation. 12V reading lights. Curtains on all portlights.
Cabin heating keeps the boat dry and extends the season.

Construction

Beautifully constructed yacht with heavy layup, GRP hull and superstructure. Long keel with encapsulated ballast and integrated keel mounted rudder. Hydraulic wheel steering. The underwater areas are covered in antifoul coatings. Most recent application in May 2025. The hull top sides and superstructure have been polished on a regular basis. The vessel benefits from a lower freeboard, allowing easy access to the side decks. There are side access gates, port and starboard in line with the cockpit combings. This allows easy and trouble free unloading of provisions when pontoon berthed or directly from the dinghy when at anchor. On the inside of these gates, fixed to the deck on the starboard side are mounts for a removable boarding ladder. Raised bulwarks with teak top capping rails and teak toe rail. Heavy duty stainless steel bow and stern rails connected by stanchions and a double set of guard wires. Stainless steel stem head fitting with nylon anchor roller.
