Summary

'Aloe Vera' is a 1988 Halmatic 30 MKII Century Edition, a rare long-keel cruising yacht designed by John Sharp and now offered for sale through Boatpoint Conwy. Renowned for her seaworthiness and reassuring handling, she is equally suited to coastal cruising and extended offshore passages. One of only 15 Century Edition models built to commemorate the production of the 100th Halmatic 30, she benefits from teak-laid decks, generous fuel and water tank capacities, modern navigation electronics and a Raymarine EV100 autopilot. She is also accompanied by an excellent ownership file, including the original builder's contract, certification documents and a complete ownership history, having had just three owners from new. Internally, the boat is clean and functional but is beginning to show signs of age and general wear and tear. Whilst perfectly usable as she is, a new owner may wish to carry out some cosmetic updating to the interior to bring her more in line with modern tastes. Reluctantly offered for sale after 23 years of ownership, 'Aloe Vera' represents an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire a classic, capable cruising yacht with an exceptional pedigree. Lying Conwy Marina, North Wales.
