Summary

1981 Jeanneau Melody 34 – A Proven Offshore Cruiser with Classic Lines

Tavolara is a fine example of one of Jeanneau’s most respected classic designs, combining timeless styling with a reputation for solid offshore performance.   Built in 1981, she offers the robust French craftsmanship of her era, delivering seaworthiness, comfort, and ease of handling that make her equally suited for coastal cruising or extended passages.  Her well-balanced sail plan and dependable rig make her a pleasure to helm in a wide range of conditions, while the thoughtfully laid-out interior provides surprising space for her size.  With enough accommodation for family or crew, a practical galley, and generous stowage, she’s designed for sailors who value capability as much as charm.  If you’re looking for a proven cruiser with enduring appeal, the Jeanneau Melody 34 stands out as a yacht that has aged gracefully and continues to inspire confidence on the water.

Owner's Comments

Tavolara has had three owners from new and all have kept hr up to date and well maintained through each phase of ownership. She is quick when the hull is clean and sails very well and easily single handed or shorthanded and is fun to race fully crewed. The full landing headroom makes time onboard comfortable and the forward and aft cabins provide privacy.

Tavolara is ready to step onboard and sail away for any new owner!
