Accommodation

Access to the wheelhouse from the cockpit is via the three-part sliding aft door, giving excellent flexibility between the cockpit and interior while providing shelter when required. Additional access is available through port and starboard side doors from the wheelhouse.

The helm position is situated to starboard, with a comfortable pilot seat and third bolster seat immediately behind the pilot, providing excellent visibility and support when underway. Opposite to port is the co-pilot seat, with the galley area positioned directly behind. The galley includes a portable single burner gas stove, sink and cold-water supply, providing practical facilities for extended days afloat. A refrigerator is located opposite, beneath the third seat.

The wheelhouse benefits from a sliding roof hatch, providing excellent ventilation and additional natural light, while cabin heating ensures comfort in cooler conditions. The dining table can slide upwards and be secured to allow for extra space in the pilot house when required.

Forward, the accommodation provides a comfortable V-berth, with the infill and cushions supplied to create a generous sleeping area when required. A separate heads compartment is located within the cabin and is equipped with a Jabsco marine toilet, 40-litre holding tank, offering convenient facilities for both day trips and longer excursions.

The practical interior layout, combined with the excellent visibility, multiple access points and sheltered wheelhouse, makes the Merry Fisher 795 Marlin particularly well suited to year-round coastal cruising, fishing and family use.
