Summary
'Rosa' is a very clean example of the ever popular Philippe Briand designed Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32 cruising yacht. This yacht has the added advantage of being a one owner boat from new and she has been very well maintained but lightly used during their ownership. Volvo Penta MD2020DT inboard diesel serviced in April 2025 for the season. Vessel is ashore annually for antifoul and polish with most recent in May 2025.
Vessel can sleep 6 in comfort over two cabins and saloon. Galley with 2-burner hob and grill. Top loading fridge. Excellent raymarine navigation package including DSC VHF, Autopilot, Wind speed/direction and depth sounder. Garmin GPS.
Eberspacher cabin heating extends the season.
Mechanical
Vessel is powered by a well maintained Volvo Penta MD2020DT inboard diesel engine. Most recent service was in April 2025 ready for season. Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft and 2-bladed bronze propeller. Shaft fitted with a rope cutter.
The engine is housed beneath the companionway steps with easy access to the front and rear of engine for servicing and daily checks. Engine start panel mounted in the aft cockpit coaming behind a protective Perspex screen. There is an additional fuel filter fitted to ensure clean fuel gets to the injectors. Exhaust temperature alarm fitted as a precaution.

Electrical
Bank of 2x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. These are fitted with battery selector switches and are recharged via the engines alternator or the on board battery charger.

Rigging
Bermudan sloop sail plan with deck stepped aluminium spars. Block and tackle vang and mainsheet track forward of sprayhood. All lines are led aft for ease when sailing solo or with an inexperienced crew.

Roller furling headsail system by Facnor and 3-point slab reefing for mainsail. Genoa sheet tracks mounted either side of coachroof keep side decks clear. Harken ST40 self tailing halyard and genoa sheet winches. Vessel rigged for cruising chute including sail, blocks and halyards. Accommodation
Below decks is warm and welcoming thanks to the combination of teak veneer cabinet work and navy cushions. The floor is teak and holly laminate and in excellent condition. Owners double cabin aft with locker. Double cabin in the bow with NEW mattress topper that has never been slept on and bespoke bedding that has never been used. The curved saloon dining/seating area with settee/berths either side of the saloon table. The starboard side of the table is drop leaved allowing unhindered access through the boat.
The galley is situated to starboard of the companionway steps This area features a stainless steel sink, gas fuelled 2-burner hob with grill and a top loading refrigerator. There are plentiful storage cupboards above and below the work tops.
Chart table situated at aft end of starboard saloon seating. Chart storage and chart reading light. 12/240V switch panel.
Heads with sink unit with pull out shower and jabsco sea toilet. Holding tank with diverter valve and deck pump out access.

Construction
GRP constructed sailing yacht with standard draft fin keel, semi-balanced rudder and binnacle mounted wheel steering. White hi-gloss topsides with smart navy and gold hull decals. Underwater areas were antifouled in May 2025, topsides were polished, and anodes replaced.
Good sized side decks with easy access forward to foredeck with anchor locker and strong point. Stainless steel stem head fitting with anchor roller. Mooring cleats fore and aft. midships. Stainless steel bow and stern rails joined by stainless steel stanchions and double set of coated guard wires. Mid ship access gates.
Large self-bailing cockpit with teak laid locker tops. Custom made teak cockpit grate. Easy access to bathing platform with stainless steel bathing ladder and nylo tread. Storage locker to starboard with gas locker adjacent. Transom shower. Emergency tiller.
