Summary
Mashala is a 1996 Beneteau Oceanis 321, currently lying at Conwy Marina in North Wales. A well-proven and practical cruising yacht, the Oceanis 321 offers comfortable accommodation combined with capable sailing performance, making her well suited to coastal cruising and longer passages alike. Located under the companionway in sound proofed compartment, Yanmar 3GM30F, three cylinder, 27hp diesel engine with electric start. 1358 hours run to date [this may increase as the yacht is still in use]. Shaft drive to fixed three blade propeller. Single lever control. Engine switch panel. Fuel gauge. 61 litres fuel capacity giving approximately 360 mile range at 6 knots cruising speed with a maximum speed of 7.5 knots. Good access to engine from saloon and aft cabin.

Accommodation
2 Cabin/ 1 Heads - 7 berths inc saloon
A practical and spacious interior layout, well suited to family cruising and extended time aboard. The accommodation provides a good balance of living space, storage and sleeping accommodation, with approximately 6'4" of headroom throughout the main living areas.
The interior is finished with blue upholstered seating complemented by teak and holly-effect wooden flooring and mahogany cabinetry, giving the accommodation a traditional nautical feel. Re-upholstered to include headlining's in 2025
Saloon
The main saloon is a particularly spacious and welcoming area, with seating arranged around a centreline folding-leaf dining table. The U-shaped seating to starboard provides generous room for entertaining and dining and can be converted to provide an additional double berth when required.
To port is a substantial bench-style settee, while the aft-facing chart table provides a dedicated navigation area.
A TV is mounted on the saloon bulkhead, providing an additional amenity for relaxing aboard.
The saloon benefits from good natural light and ventilation, while the generous headroom contributes to the feeling of space normally associated with a larger yacht.
Galley
The U-shaped galley is located to port, immediately aft of the saloon, providing a secure and practical working area for preparing meals while underway.
Equipment includes a Nelson two-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, together with a large top-loading refrigerator with ice box. A twin stainless-steel sink is fitted with both hot and cold pressurised water, making the galley well equipped for extended cruising.
The surrounding work surfaces and storage provide useful space for provisions, cookware and galley equipment.
Aft Cabin
A large aft double cabin is situated to starboard, offering comfortable sleeping accommodation and useful storage. The cabin incorporates a hanging wardrobe, together with additional storage space, making it suitable for longer periods aboard rather than simply occasional overnight use.
Heads Compartment
Forward of the aft cabin, on the starboard side, is the heads compartment, conveniently positioned between the saloon and aft cabin. The compartment is fitted with a Jabsco marine toilet (2025), washbasin and shower faucet, with hot and cold water available. The layout provides a practical heads and washroom facility for both cruising and extended stays aboard.
Forward Cabin
The separate forward cabin provides the principal forward sleeping accommodation and includes a hanging locker for clothing and personal effects. The cabin benefits from the generous volume of the Oceanis 321's forward accommodation and provides a private sleeping area away from the main saloon.
Overall, the two-cabin configuration makes particularly good use of the Oceanis 321's interior volume, providing two private sleeping cabins, a convertible additional double berth in the saloon, a well-equipped galley and separate heads compartment. With approximately 6'4" headroom, the accommodation feels spacious and comfortable for a yacht of this size and age.
