Owner's Comments
I purchased the boat in the Uk from an experienced yachtsman. Previous to him was another experienced yachtsman naval commander. So Weymouth Warrior has been in good hands since new.
I purchased this 393 as it was set up for solo sailing and is more than manageable to be sailed as such without having to leave the cockpit to reef etc.
My intentions were to circumnavigate, so it has been prepared as such, water maker, hydrovane, solar panels and anything else needed for long offshore passages. She got us as far as the Caribbean, after crossing the Bay of Biscay, down to the Canary Islands, then crossing the Atlantic in 2023 with ease and in good time. She’s taken us around all the windward islands, living at anchor for months on end. She had brand new sails made and put on in Antigua by North Sails in 2024 ready to carry on the journey up into America, then through the Panama Canal.
But we have decided we want something slightly bigger, so we shipped The Warrior home in March of 2025 and she is now back home in Portland Marina. She is quite literally a turn key boat, ready for a circumnavigation today, or an extremely comfortable coastal cruiser.
The 393 has a terrific pedigree and this being the sort after 3 cabin version.
She has proved to be a very safe and sturdy vessel and looked after us well.
