Summary

The Fairline Targa 34 is without a doubt one of the most eye catching, mid range cruisers on the market today. With her large curved windscreen, huge side windows and stunning white and dark blue hull she’s looks as good today as she did when she left the factory in 2004. Teak laid cockpit with clearly defined areas. Comfortable and recently upholstered cockpit seating with forward sunpads to match. Powered by the highly desirable Twin Volvo Penta KAD44 diesels with DP sterndrives developing 260HP each side. Comprehensive electronics package including colour GPS, plotter, depth sounder and DSC VHF. Comes complete with full canopies. Well maintained by present owners with hull antifouled in June 2025. Engines and legs serviced in June 2025. 

Mechanical

Vessel powered by twin, 260 HP, Volvo Penta KAD44DP, inboard diesels. These six cylinder, fresh water-cooled workhorses are situated in an easy access engine bay at the rear of the cockpit, allowing easy access for servicing and daily checks. Most recent service was carried out in June 2025, including oil changes to both engines, transmission fluid to the legs and all filters replaced.

Sports style helm with full engine instrumentation including rev counters, visual and audible alarms for temperature, oil pressure and charging. Volvo EDC synchronisation controls. 
Volvo DP sterndrives with stainless steel, counter rotating propellers. Handling is further enhanced by the Sidepower bowthruster.

Electrical

Both 12V and 240V systems onboard. Bank of 3x12 Volt batteries providing engine start and domestic power. Both engine start batteries and both engine alternators were replaced In 2024. 
Batteries are fitted with isolators and are recharged via the engine alternators or the recently replaced onboard smart charger. 12/240V switch panel. Rocker style selector switches at helm.

Accommodation

Main saloon is accessed from the cockpit via a sliding smoked glass Perspex door. Two steps down. And you are in the saloon with full standing headroom. To port is the recently reupholstered saloon seating area. This area will convert to a double berth. Hull mounted saloon storage cupboards. Opening portlights in hull for natural light and ventilation. Full curtain package. Interior is fully carpeted and features high gloss varnished cabinet work and doors. 
Opposite the saloon seating area is the galley. This features a 2 burner gas hob with separate oven and grill. GRP and Corian worktops with inbuilt sink and stainless steel mixer tap with hot and cold pressurised water.  Hull mounted storage cupboards above galley. Opening port for ventilation.

Forward off the galley is the heads compartment with electric flush sea toilet. Holding tank for waste with new macerator fitted in 2024. Moulded sink unit with hot and cold pressurised water. Separate shower controls with mixer tap. Shower sump pump out. Mirrored vanity unit. Opening port for ventilation.

Owner’s cabin in bow with double berth. Padded surround for additional comfort.  Opening deck hatch and two opening ports in hull for natural light and ventilation. 12 Volt deck lights. Hanging wardrobe on portside. Mirrored vanity unit on aft bulkhead.

Midship’s cabin with twin berths which can be converted to a large double. Separate dressing seat. Drawer storage. Padded berth surrounds. Opening port for ventilation. 12 Volt deck head lighting. 

Construction

GRP constructed motor yacht with planning hull incorporated bathing platform into hull with inlaid with teak. The teak laid cockpit is accessed from the bathing platform via a transom door. Seating Area on portside with table that lowers to create a large sun pad. The cockpit seating has been reupholstered in 2024. Upper helm with passenger seating on portside with single helm seat on starboard side. Aft of the helm position is a further single seat and access to a top loading fridge. Powder coated window frames with solid glass wind and side screens.

Good sized side decks allow access forward to foredeck. Sun pads replaced in 2024. Large capacity anchor locker with electric windlass with foot controls. Rear GRP cockpit arch.
