Accommodation
The Orkney Pilothouse 20 features a thoughtfully designed layout that makes excellent use of the available space, offering comfortable accommodation for both day boating and occasional overnight stays. The bright, enclosed wheelhouse provides excellent all-weather protection with generous headroom, allowing most adults to stand comfortably at the helm. Large windows all round create an airy feel while providing superb visibility when underway.
Forward, the cabin converts into a spacious V-berth suitable for two adults, making the boat ideal for weekend trips or overnight adventures. A compact galley to port is neatly incorporated into the cabin and includes a gas hob and sink, providing the essentials for preparing hot drinks and simple meals afloat. There is a cushion that fits on top of the galley to serve as a co-pilot seat. Marine sea toilet located on the starboard forward of the helm area.
The large, self-draining cockpit is one of the Pilothouse 20's standout features. Deep, secure coamings make it a safe environment for family boating or offshore fishing, while the uncluttered layout comfortably accommodates three to four people. Practical features include generous under-seat storage, rod holders and bait preparation trays, making the boat equally at home as a capable fishing platform or a versatile coastal cruiser.
