Summary
The Griffon was released to the yachting public as the new and improved Centaur. Designed by Ed Dubois, she was a bit of a pocket rocket and in the right hands has a good turn of speed. This is the Mark II version which boasted an interior more in keeping with some 30 footers around at the time.
'Selene' is the more desirable, a fin keeled version and is in excellent condition for her years. Her key selling point is the recent intallation of a BUKH 24ME in Spring 2025. This was a reconditioned engine but will provide many years of reliable boating. She is ashore every year for antifoul and polish. Good suit of sails and decent electronic navigation aids.
This yacht is an ideal safe family cruiser or will suit a cruising couple ready to downsize. Her current owner has circumnavigated the UK and cruised to the Orkneys and Holland.
