Summary

The Hunter Legend 340 is a highly regarded cruising yacht, offering comfortable accommodation, easy handling and impressive sailing performance. Built in the USA in 2000 and originally supplied by OPAL Marine, this example has had just one owner from new and has clearly been well cared for throughout its life.  Currently ashore at Holyhead, the yacht has been carefully mothballed by the family, with external equipment removed and stored securely. The hull has been stripped back to the GRP, providing an excellent opportunity for inspection and survey. Mechanical

Located abaft the companionway, Yanmar 3GM30 three cylinder 27hp diesel engine, 2000. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller. Single lever control. 
113 litres fuel capacity in plastic tank giving approximately 240 miles range at 6 knots cruising speed. 
Maximum speed under power 7 knots.

The Hunter 340 offers an excellent spacious internal space that is both comfortable yet functional.  Up to seven berths in 2 cabins plus saloon. Approx 6'4 headroom. 

Double cabin forward, Saloon with two settee berths (one converting to a double) with drop leaf table between. Teak and holly saloon sole. Aft facing chart table. To starboard marine toilet in heads compartment with 110 litre holding tank, shower and basin. Galley to port double stainless steel sinks, two burner gas cooker with oven and fridge. Door aft of galley to large aft cabin with athwart double berth. Pressurised hot and cold fresh water system (285 litres capacity).
