Rigging

The Jeanneau 39i features a fractional sloop rig with swept spreaders, offering a balanced blend of performance and ease of handling. All primary sail controls, including halyards, reefing lines, furling lines, and the mainsheet, are led aft to the cockpit for effortless short-handed sailing. Twin helm stations with conveniently positioned winches provide excellent control, while the retractable bowsprit accommodates an asymmetrical spinnaker for enhanced downwind performance. Accommodation

V-Berth
The spacious forward owner's cabin features a generous V-berth, ample hanging lockers, shelving, and excellent storage, creating a bright and comfortable private retreat.

Saloon
The light and airy saloon benefits from Jeanneau's practical three-cabin layout, providing exceptional living space. Upholstered in "Pasco Jaguar Ecru/ Blue Bresil" a large wraparound dinette to starboard comfortably seats five to six guests this can be converted to a double berth, perfect for accommodating extra guests on board. An additional settee is positioned to the port side, creating an inviting area for dining and relaxation. The large saloon table benefits from the factory extra saloon table extension to maximise dining space.

Galley
Located aft to starboard, the practical L-shaped galley offers an efficient workspace with generous storage and easy access to the saloon, making meal preparation comfortable whether underway or at anchor. Stainless steel sink with hot and cold water, refrigerated top load cool box, gimballed stove with oven.

Chart Table
A dedicated forward-facing navigation station is positioned to port, with the adjacent settee extending beneath the chart table to maximise both seating and functionality. The chart table configuration can be changed to create a designated stool for passage planning or positioned to the left to maximise seating on the port side settee.

Aft Cabins
The Jeanneau 39i offers comfortable aft accommodation with two spacious double berths. The three cabin layout provides a generous aft owner's cabin to starboard, while all cabins benefit from practical storage and excellent natural light.

Heads
Positioned to port, the spacious heads compartment features a separate shower with seating, offering a level of comfort and convenience more commonly found on larger yachts.

Construction

Designed by renowned naval architect Marc Lombard, the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i features a modern hull form with a broad transom and refined underwater profile, delivering an excellent balance of performance, stability, and interior volume. The deep fin keel with bulb 6ft 6in standard draft provides confident upwind performance and responsive handling. Structurally, outboard-mounted chainplates transfer rig loads directly into the hull, enhancing strength and durability, while the twin-wheel cockpit offers excellent helm visibility and easy movement throughout the cockpit.
