The hull is constructed in GRP (glass-reinforced plastic), using substantial laminate and structural reinforcement designed to withstand the demands of offshore sailing. The hull incorporates a deep, fixed fin keel with substantial lead ballast, providing a powerful combination of stability, directional control and performance. The rudder is skeg-hung, offering protection and support while contributing to the yacht's balanced handling and excellent tracking characteristics.

The hull and deck are joined to form a strong, integrated structure, with the deck incorporating a raised coachroof and substantial moulded construction.
