James Crabb

James has been hooked on powerboats since the age of 7 when his Dad bought their first family boat, over the years he enjoyed trips all around the Solent with the occasional trip to France and the Channel Islands. From the age of 17, he bought project speed boats from all over the country, brought them home spruced them up and sold them on. He still loves getting out on the water, relaxing in Newtown Creek at anchor or heading over to The Hut at Colwell, Cowes or Yarmouth for lunch.

Before joining the boatpoint team at Deacons Marina, James was busy selling hot tubs over a 14-year period. He decided to leave to pursue a career in the marine industry and get back to his real passion in life - boating. We're glad he's made the leap!

If not messing around with boats or taking them out on the water, James enjoys rebuilding motorcycles and Land Rovers (anything with an engine) and visiting air shows and museums.
