'Godiva II' is a beautiful example of the highly popular Hallberg Rassy Monsun 31. These traditional long full keel yachts are ideal for the sea conditions encountered here in the North of England.
She has been in her present ownership since 2003 and has been regularly maintained and updated without compromising the Hallberg-Rassy DNA. These include upgraded electronic navigation aids and Webasto cabin heating.
Currently afloat on a jetty berth and ready to embark on new adventures.
Vessel is powered by a reliable and economical Volvo MD11C inboard diesel engine. Although this 23hp workhorse is the original engine there is no reason why she won't provide many years of reliable service to come.
Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft with a fixed 3 bladed propeller. Single lever throttle control mounted in cockpit.
Twin batteries with isolators. These provide engine start and domestic power and are recharged via the engine alternator, onboard battery charger or trickle charged via the solar panel.
120l fuel tank in keel.

Below decks is clean, bright and inviting with a fit out that you would expect from a quality builder such as this. In the original sales brochure it states that there are berths for 6 but in reality the double berth conversion to the saloon port side settee is more suited to an adult and child. There is a double berth in the forepeak, additional single settee berth to starboard of the saloon and a pilot berth.
The interior is satin varnished mahogany hard woods and veneered bulkheads. Oat meal carpet and blue check upholstery.
All saloon berths fitted with lee cloths. Boat benefits from Webasto diesel fired cabin heating.
Saloon :
Settee berth to starboard and port with lifting back rest for bedding stowage and additional width for sleeping. Lee cloths on port and starboard berths.
The port berth extends partially in width by dropping the table and adding an infill cushion.

The Monsun 31 has proved to be the most popular boat that Hallberg-Rassy ever built. When you consider her sturdy build quality and elegant lines it is easy to see why.
Built of reinforced GRP she has a long encapsulated keel and keel mounted rudder with tiller steering. GRP-sandwich deck finished in moulded non slip.
Easy access side decks leading to foredeck with anchor locker. Stainless steel stem head fitting with built in anchor roller. self draining anchor locker with hinged lid.
Stainless steel bow and stern rails conjoined by stainless steel stanchions with double set of guardwires. Slightly raised hull to deck join finished in teak capping rails.
Solid half windscreen offers wind and spray protection. Teak cockpit sole and locker tops in excellent condition.
Huge sail locker to port and additional storage locker at transom.
